Workflow

The workflow describes a circuit of validation, the tasks that the distinct actors of a process have to run, and the modes of validation. It gives to each actor the necessary information to carry out his job. In this way it allows to get a follow up and to identify the actors giving information on their role and the manner to achieve it as better as possible.

EDI

There are several possibilities of management of EDI:

 

  • Internal solution: with the system of EDI translation (Influe ou NY-Consultant...) of the company - Management of Electronic Data Interchange with the EDI partners.
  • The EDI-WEB or host solution, of the customer or the partner (@GP, SERES...) - recovery of standard messages (ex: customers orders) in html forms which are available on a dedicated and secured site - possibility of recovery of the messages in order to integrate them in the information system.
  • The merchant web site: your customers or retailers can place orders, visualize the stock...on a dedicated web site (Synoptic-web, Configurator ...)

Tracking

  • What for? For who? How? Where? - fabrication, operation, operator, machine, workstation
  • When? How many times? - date/hour of beginning, date/hour of the end with a checking of time of stopping of production linked or not with a machine (stopping, breakdown, cleaning, ...)
  • How many? - good quantity, scrap, scrap due to something
  • Research each step of production, the orders of fabrication, the operators, the used material, and the numbers of batches, ...concerned by a production
  • Going back to the batches, the raw material, and/or the semi-finished products that have been used for a finished product.
  • Getting queries concerning the tracking (upstream, downstream, case of use)
  • Editing bar code labels

Control of quality

  • Tracking: to find the last steps of manufacturing, the orders of fabrication, the operators, the used material, and the numbers of batches,
  • Routing control in production: possibility of inserting criteria in relation with routings for the finished products (e.g.: size, look,...) in order to control the quality of production.
  • The qualitative receipt of materials:
  • Control of the receipts according to the defined criteria for the bought materials,
  • Probate of the batches: liberating a batch into a stock according to its probate,
  • Code concerning the following of the quality of the suppliers: calculation of the notation of the suppliers.
Creation and management of the notices concerning the non-compliance and the corrective actions (following of the actions to do, cost due to non quality)

Data acquisition in workshop

  • A bar code that identifies: an order of fabrication, an operator, a machine
  • A bar-code reader or a touch-sensitive screen which recovers data
  • A possible management of the data capture on PC/server or on terminals
  • Following in real-time of your production: past time by machine, by order of fabrication, by operator, the progress of your production...
  • Controlling and organizing as better as possible your teams and the use of machines
  • Doing comparative studies (planned/carried out) for the next provisional budget
  • Optimizing the resources according to the balance of production

Simulation of transport rates

  • Comparison of costs of transport
  • Optimization of the costs of delivery: gathering the deliveries concerning a same area or dividing transport while using several conveyors.

Edition of a cartography of the cost generated by department, area or country according to the conveyor

Functions concerning the After Sales Service

  • Contracts: management and following of the customers' calls - management and following of the duration of contracts - management of the serial numbers
  • Interventions of technicians: planning of orders of interventions - following of the carried out actions by contract, by customer, by equipment - invoicing of interventions
  • Data entry of the sheets of interventions
  • Tracking of interventions carried out on equipment
  • Movements of stocks (input/returns)
  • Management of spare parts
